Broich Castle-Christmas

Visit Broich Castle at Chrismas time and see the medieval craftsman at work and the nativity play in Latin and German. The inner court of Broich Castle is beautifully illuminated with candles and torches and you can enjoy relaxed hours with a range of matching food and drinks.

Program for Friday to Sunday
Arrival and check-in with a welcoming-drink on Friday afternoon. Provided with a ticket for the public transport you can visit some of the many, many Christmas-markets in the Ruhr Metropolis, e.g. in the old town of Hattingen. In the afternoon visit of the Broich Castle Christmas. On Sunday morning visit of the worlds biggest walk-in Camera Obscura with the "Prehistory of film".

We recommend: for the evenings we make bookings on request for any cultural event; theatre, concerts, musicals and many more. We are also able to organise an alternative for you, a day at the indoor-skiing "Alpincenter" in Bottrop.
