Founder and entrepreneurs Museum
More entrepreneurs have lived in Mülheim than in almost any other city in the Ruhr area. The city of Mülheim has a long historic tradition as a town for founders and entrepreneurs. To keep the successful stories of these pioneers alive for future generations and to animate present entrepreneurs to follow their examples. The exhibition was installed in autumn 2008 in the so-called "House of Economy", the former Thyssen headquarter. In the context of the city´s history and development, the exhibition examines different branches and presents some ideas for "setting your own independent business".
