Leather- and Tanner-Museum
Experience the world of leather with all senses…
Working with leather is one of the oldest handcrafts in human history. Since the mid-17th century this trade has also played a very important part in Mülheim´s history. Until the 1990s the city was shaped by many tanner and leather-plants. In 2003 the actual museum opened in the building of one of these former tanning works and interesting documents are shown there.
Opening times: Wed to Sun 2 pm to 6 pm
Admission fees: Adults 2,00 EUR, children, groups and other reductions 1,50 EUR,
Guided tours must be requested, for school-classes also in the mornings possible
