"Change through culture – culture through change!": this was the motto of the European Capital of Culture 2010, which was represented by the Ruhr Metropolis. And Mülheim an der Ruhr is just in the middle of this fascinating region.

After 150 years of mining, coal pits and steel industries these buildings have been assigned for culural, culinary and other purposes, which shape the appearence of this diversified cultural landscape which still dominates the Ruhr-Area today. But also its green and natural landscapes along the Ruhr with lots of leisure time activities  won't stand back in this mesmerising package of attractions.
